Bill Paterson

Né en Ecosse, Bill Paterson a suivi sa formation de comédien à la Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Il a été nommé au Laurence Olivier Award en 1982 pour le rôle-titre de « Schwekyk in the Second World War » au National Theatre.

Il joue aussi bien au théâtre qu'à la télévision et au cinéma. Pour le petit écran, il a joué dans Smiley's People, Defense Of The Realm, The Singing Detective, Traffic, Wives and Daughters, Doctor Zhivago, The Canterbury Tales, Foyle's War et A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Côté cinéma, il a été l'interprète de The Ploughman's Lunch de Richard Eyre, Comfort and Joy de Bill Forsyth, La Déchirure de Roland Joffé, A Private Function de Malcolm Mowbray, Les Aventures du baron de Münchausen de Terry Gilliam, Truly (...)
